Are you an agent for one company?
No. I’m an independent broker appointed with many admitted carriers and specialty wholesalers, so I shop your risk instead of fitting it into one company’s appetite.
What does it cost to use a broker?
Usually nothing extra, because the carrier pays the commission. Some surplus lines policies carry a broker fee. If yours does, I’ll tell you in writing before you buy.
What is a surplus lines policy?
A surplus lines policy is written by a nonadmitted insurer when the licensed market won’t take the risk. It’s common for wildfire-zone, vacant, older or very high-value properties. These insurers aren’t backed by the California Insurance Guarantee Association, and I explain the trade-off before you choose.
Who answers the phone?
An AI intake assistant answers the line 24/7 and collects your details. I personally review every request and call you back. The assistant never quotes or binds coverage.
Do you write outside California?
Not at this time. I’m licensed in California and place California risks only.
I was non-renewed. How fast can you help?
Call as soon as the notice arrives. The more time before your expiration date, the more markets I can shop. If you’re within a few days, tell the intake assistant it’s urgent.
